Honeoye Clay Target Club participates in state tournament

The Honeoye Clay Target Club participated in the annual USA Clay Target state tournament on June 7 in Cicero (Onondaga County).

From Honeoye, 16 of the 26 club members were part of the tournament, which included 157 New York schools and more than 2,000 athletes.

Trevor, Henry and Andrew led the Honeoye varsity level team and Liam and Lucas led the junior varsity level squads at the state shoot.

Also during the spring season, Garrett J. placed in the JV division at the Dansville Trap Shooting Invitational and Dani P. earned the top gun award of first place in her division at the Little Lakes Trap Shoot in May.
