Senior John Blair Signs Letter to Play Lacrosse at SUNY Morrisville Sure, John Blair enjoys scoring lacrosse goals. Who doesn’t? But when it comes to lending a hand on the field, the Honeoye senior is more than willing. Assisting teammates is just as important as scoring goals and Blair has done plenty of both for the Bloomfield/Honeoye the last two seasons. That’s the type of selfless approach that catches the attention of college coaches and on Tuesday, Blair made it official by signing his letter of intent to play for SUNY Morrisville starting in 2025. But first, he has one more season with the Pride and the opportunity to add even more points to his career total of 121 through three varsity seasons. Last year, Blair led the team with 20 assists and as a sophomore, he had a team-high 22. Throw 52 goals from those two seasons and his status as one of the team’s top offensive threats is an all-around skill set that opponents can’t dismiss. Blair was joined at Tuesday’s signing by his family: Father George, mother Bridgette (both Honeoye graduates) and sister Abby. Bloomfield/Honeoye lacrosse coaches Joe Sidari (head) and Chad Ayers (assistant) also were on hand to celebrate.
