Honeoye Lake Rotary Club Names Students of the Month for October

The Honeoye Lake Rotary Club is proud to recognize Aspen Flynn and Marley Frick of Honeoye Central School District as Students of the Month for October.

These students were selected by their teachers as they exemplify the Four Way Test in addition to modeling Service Above Self.

From the Middle School, Aspen is our Student of the Month. Aspen loves to be active and involved in all she can. She loves sports but also makes time for musical activities including band, jazz band, choir and the annual school musical.

Outside of school she works with the Olympic Development Program for soccer and is aiming to visit all 50 states before she graduates. College is in her future and she would like to play soccer while possibly majoring in science.

As our High School Student of the Month, Marley Frick is involved in a variety of activities including varsity soccer, cheerleading, Youth to Youth, Peer Tutoring, and French Club. Marley participated in the French exchange as part of her club work and also challenged her academic goals by working with Masterminds.

Outside of school, Marley volunteers as much as possible as she loves to meet new people and help meet the needs of our community. Marley plans to attend college but is undecided as to her major.

Congratulations to Aspen and Marley for receiving this honor and to their parents for being there to help them do all they can to be role models.
