2/8 CIP Community Forum Meeting

The Honeoye Central School District would like to undertake reconstruction, renovations, improvements and repairs to the Honeoye Central District main building and the bus garage. The district would like to thank the community members who attended our Capital Improvement Project Communtity Forum on 2/8 and provide the HCS community access to the slidedeck and meeting recording from the presentation.

The district hosted the CIP Community Forum on February 8 with the intent of providing information about the following aspects of the 2024 Capital Improvement Project proposal:
  • Setting the Stage for the Project:  BOE Facilities Committee Members,Tori Penrod-Clark and Jim Helling
  • Prelude to Scope of Work: Superintendent, E. Bridget Ashton 
  • CIP Scope of Work: SWBR Architect & Education Planner, Joe Kosiorek
  • Director of Facilities "State of the State" Statement: Director of Facilities, Mike Kestler
  • CIP Financing: BpD Vice President & Financial Consultant, Sarah Bradshaw and HCS Business Official, Mike Bastian

2024 CIP Vote Date Established: March 26, 2024
The Honeoye Central School District Board of Education passed a resolution during a Special Meeting of the Board on 1/31:  A Special Meeting of the qualified voters of the Honeoye Central School District will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at the Honeoye Central School, 8528 Main Street, Honeoye, New York, in the Auditorium Foyer on which date and at which place the polls shall be open between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., local time, for the purpose of voting on the propositions described.
