Kindergarten Registration Now Open

HCS Kindergarten Registration for 2024-25 School Year Now Open

If you have an incoming kindergartner, and you haven't already notified us, please begin the pre-registration process by filling out the Intent to Register Form. Once this process is complete, you will be added to our mailing list and in March, will receive a registration packet to begin the formal process. (Note: if your child currently attends our UPK program, no action is needed as they are already pre-registered.) 

If you do not have an incoming kindergartner for the 2024-25 school year, please help us spread the word to your friends and neighbors in the HCS community that registration is open. HCS encourages families to register early for planning purposes (screenings, orientation, student placement, etc.)

*Important to note: To register your child, they must have been born on or before 12/1/2019.

TIMELINE

• January-March: Pre-register using the Intent to Register Form.
• March-April: Receive the Welcome Letter (which will include the registration packet) to begin the formal process. You can preview the letter and learn about kindergarten screening here: HCS Kindergarten Registration Welcome Letter
• May-June: Kindergarten screenings; return registration packet and all required documentation: Required documentation for Registration
• August: Kindergarten Orientation
