All Afterschool and Evening Activities Cancelled

Exercising an abundance of caution and in response to current weather alerts, all afterschool and evening activities at the Honeoye Central School District are cancelled for 1/9/2024.  

A HIGH WIND WARNING has been issued by the National Weather Service for Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Wayne, Northern Cayuga, Northern Erie, Genesee, Wyoming, Livingston, Ontario, and Allegany counties. It is anticipated that strong winds out of the southeast will travel at 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. Per the National Weather Service, the strongest wind gusts will occur late this afternoon through this evening as precipitation diminishes. Travel may be difficult especially for high profile vehicles and damaging winds may blow down trees and power lines, resulting in potential power outages.

Note: Dismissal procedures for both the elementary and secondary buildings will proceed as normal.
