Schools Closed

A winter weather advisory is in effect for our area Friday and continuing into the weekend. They are predicting snow and strong winds gusting as high as 50 mph. A rapid switch from rain to snow with sharply falling temperatures may likely result in flash freeze conditions on Friday.  The accumulation of snow, blowing winds and flash freeze are anticipated to reduce visibility and to create treacherous travel conditions.

Exercising an abundance of caution for the entirety of our learning community, the Honeoye Central School District will be closed on Friday, December 23, 2022.  Snow day closure on 12/23 applicable to all out of district placements and all afterschool and evening athletics/activities/events.
