Your response and participation in this survey is greatly appreciated, the information will help us better prepare in the future if we ever need to close school for an extended period of time. It will also assist us in advocating for resources needed to ensure all residents within the HCS boundaries have the ability to connect to high speed quality internet service at an affordable price. In Conjunction with Student Pick Up of Personal Belongings… Please Consider these IdeasThroughout our global experience with COVID-19, HCS has strived to relate messaging of HOPE. In effort to memorialize our shared experience and UNITY during the extended closing due to COVID-19, both buildings would like to offer HCS students the opportunity to decorate (via any medium - paints, markers, etc) a rock which captures their message/symbol of HOPE and UNITY. We hope to identify an appropriate, on campus location where rocks will be assembled as a “Rock Garden of Hope.” As interested, please have your child bring their decorated rock (no larger than 4 x 4 x 4) to school on May 21 or May 22 when you pick up their personal belongings from HCS . To capture a glimmer of our shared experience and UNITY during the extended closing due to COVID-19, both buildings would like to invite HCS students to create a poster which captures their message of HOPE, UNITY and/or WE MISS YOU. Posters will be placed in classroom windows (facing out) for all to see! As interested, please have your child bring their decorated poster to school on May 21 or May 22 when you pick up their personal belongings from HCS. If you have any questions about the “Rock Garden of Hope” or the posters, please reach out to either Margie Wright, ES Principal, or Addie Klaehn, Secondary Principal. 2020-21 Budget PresentationsAs interested, please plan on joining me and our Business Official, Mike Bastian, during one of two Budget Presentations scheduled for the HCS community on the following dates / times: Tuesday, May 19: 6:00 - 7:00 Google Meeting invite info to be shared Monday, 5/18 via email.
