Hi, my name is Sandy Hubble.  I am a lifelong resident of Honeoye.  I am married to Gary and we have two sons, Kyle and Trevor.  Gary is employed by LeCesse Construction.  Kyle is a past board member is now teaching second grade in Washington State.  Trevor will be graduating from the University of Buffalo in a few weeks with a degree in dance.  We are all HCS graduates.

I have owned and operated a registered family day care business for the past twenty years and this has given me a great deal of experience with families of all ages and backgrounds.  It has also given me some knowledge of the issues that parents and students face today.

I believe I am fiscally responsible person and would like our students to receive a quality education that will prepare them to become successful adults whether their choice be college, trade school or something else.  I also believe the concerns and needs of the administration, staff, parents, and students should be met.  I would like to have your support for a set on the board.

I attended Honeoye from Kindergarten to graduation, and have lived in the district for most of my life.  I was valedictorian of the class of 1994, have a B.S. in physics from the U of R (with minors in English Literature and Linguistics), and an M.S. in Deaf Education from RIT.  I've taught physics and American Sign Language all of my adult life --at RIT, CSDF, GCC, Dansville, and Naples High School -- and spend hundreds of hours a year running a FIRST Robotics team.  I love helping kids realize their potential, and recognize that school is about providing opportunities for them to seize.

I am acutely aware of both how budget cuts impact school programs and how school taxes impact families. I live the challenges of small-town schools--from both of those perspectives--on a daily basis, and strive to maintain the highest standards possible for teachers and students; for you dime, doing less in unacceptable. Schools must serve the entire student body.  Failing to get a student through the minimum graduation requirements is no more and no less of a failure than allowing a student the luxury of not needing to work hard to get A's.  Classes should be both challenging and appropriate to the skills and abilities of each student, and ensuring effective programs at costs that the taxpayers can afford with be my primary focus.

If you'll have me for a second term, I'm happy to serve.

Hello, my name is Jessica Green. I grew up in Bristol and spent K-12 at Honeoye Central. I graduated from SUNY ESF with a BS in Engineering in 1995. Since that time, I have lived in Florida and Georgia, as well as Palmyra, NY. Each location has given me a greater appreciation for Honeoye. We have since built a house on a portion of the fifth generation farm I was raised on, bringing my children into the Honeoye District in 2013.

I enjoy gardening, cooking, horseback riding and working with kids. I have spent many hours as a parent volunteer and love watching them grow. My children: Aristotle, 10th grade, and Aniya, 8th grade, are happier than they have ever been at school and it is no surprise to me. The district is full of opportunities and caring people.

I have owned my own bakery business and have been in the Wire & Cable Communications industry since 2006, currently as SR. Program Manager. In addition to my love of children, I have a full appreciation for the activities of business and management.I would like to take an active role in supporting the children of the district and maintaining the balance required between fiscal responsibility and educational excellence.

The students of Honeoye represent the future of our society and I believe there is nothing more important than the support and guidance they are given. I seek your support in the upcoming election as I look to join the Board in managing our challenges for success.

Innovative, Adaptive High Quality Education is something we as a community should demand for our children. Affordable High Quality Education is something we all need. To these ends I am seeking the opportunity to work with our school board to insure the best possible education for our most valuable of
gifts.....Our Children!

My wife, Alice, and I are both graduates of HCS Class of 1971. Our son Jason also attended HCS and now runs his own Theater Design business, Veritas Scenic, in Washington, DC. Alice is a Registered Professional Nurse and has worked at Thompson Hospital for over 34 years. I am presently employed as a Senior Electromechanical Assembly Technician at a local manufacturing facility. I spent 5 years in the USAF and another 6 years in the Army Reserve as a Pharmacy Technician. Except for my time in the Air Force, I have lived in this school district and have watched it grow and produce many successful and just plain wonderful people. Honeoye has always been and no matter where I am, will always be my home.

That being said, I now believe it is time to try and give something back and, with just a little inspiration from some of my highly respected friends, serving our school district would be a most challenging and, I hope, fruitful way to do so.

It has been a pleasure for me to be a resident of the town of Richmond for many years. I attended school at Honeoye Central and as alumni I wanted my children to have the same positive experiences I had encountered in a small K-12 school district.  My wife, Bonnie and I tried to be actively involved in as many school functions with our three children as possible.  She worked at school and I  volunteered my time chaperoning trips, providing DJ music at Homecomings, and working on musical and theatrical events. This gave me a chance to not only know the students as well, but the wonderful staff and teachers that impacted their lives every day.

I worked for Eastman Kodak Company for twenty nine years as a welder, safety representative and a welding supervisor.  During this time, it was also my honor to serve for twenty two years in the United States Air Force and with the Air National Guard.   As NCOIC it was my job to train flight crews in intelligence topics.   My experiences both in the military and at Kodak afforded me the opportunities to work closely on safety issues, budgeting and future planning matters. I feel that this involvement can only prove to be more beneficial to me as a school board member.

For eight years my family and I lived in the town of Holley, New York.  During this time I served as the President of the PTSA.  Functioning in this capacity taught me the importance of being aware as parents of what is happening with our children’s education.  On the same note, it reinforced the idea of a school board that listens to the educational concerns of its residents and with proper facts makes good decisions that benefit students, teachers and the community.  That is the type of board member I will work hard to be if elected.

Hello, my name is Andrea Badger and I am seeking your support in the upcoming Honeoye Central School Board of Education Election.  I am a former student, athlete, and community  volunteer of Honeoye Central and I am currently a community advocate, voter, and resident of the district.

I currently work at Finger Lakes Community College as a Training Specialist within the Professional Development and Continuing Education Department.  This allows me to continue
to gain in-depth knowledge and understanding of the struggles of today's educational systems, budgeting, policies, and procedures.  I am dedicated to working through public policy and continuing to create a beloved and lasting environment for those that walk through the doors of Honeoye Central.

After graduating from Honeoye Central in 2004, I went on to earn my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Buffalo in Geography and Social Sciences concentrating in International Business, Word Trade, and Public Policy as well as my Master's Degree from the University of Malta and James Madison University in Sustainable Environmental Resource Management & Integrated Science and Technology.  These experiences gave me a better appreciation for my hometown of Honeoye, as well as a broad understanding of education al systems on various levels, which will allow me to improve the excellence of our district.

I pride myself on having a well-rounded wealth of knowledge in multiple disciplines and concepts; my strengths lie specifically in present day educational systems and the understanding for the need for pathways that allow our children to thrive.  Today's technologies, students, and educational needs are all different from what they were in the past and by understanding past challenges we can forge through and continue to provide the highest quality education and experience for our students. By working together we can make Honeoye School District into the best school and community imaginable.
Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to serving our community.
